Authentic Leadership

  • Eskil facilitated a host of sessions for 120 of our retail sales employees at various levels and did an outstanding job of it. The feedback was excellent to the amount of effort gone in to design and customize the program and linking it to our business goals. Their ability to translate complex concepts into simple to understand methodologies was the biggest asset. I would recommend them for any sales and business development programs.

  • The venue was very nice and we were presented with a delegate pack that I can honestly say I have NEVER seen before. Before we even began the first session on what makes leader authenticity, I realised that this WAS different. The assessments, and exercises (not forgetting the games!) made this a fantastic experience. Yes, I finally said it was an experience!

  • I really enjoyed how Eskil approached this. There was an extensive amount of pre-work including consultation and assessments and the two facilitators had run organisations to over £100m so they really understood how to handle big business. The discussions around ethics were very interesting without getting too bogged down in details about governance and compliance. The focus on authenticity was very useful and the group discussions were invaluable. Definitely worth attending.

Align your values to corporate ambitions

Depending upon your view, leadership is extremely easy or it very difficult.

This is a key point: leadership has everything to do with underlying psychology: are you trustworthy; do you collaborate; do you communicate effectively - do you do these things consistently and naturally?

With authentic leadership, there is no 'fake it till you make it’ - it an ongoing journey of self-discovery that builds your leader legitimacy.

About this course

This is an intensive program with a great degree of self-assessment.

The overarching objectives of the 3 days include:

- Build an understanding of your own emotional intelligence and how your colleagues perceive you.

- Explore your inner thinking as you identify and address negative behaviours.

- Understand why you have certain thoughts / reactions and how they impact your actions.

- Explore your moral code and check its alignment with your leadership approach.

- Develop a leadership pathway for you to action.

- Nurture your authenticity

Our workshops are based around confidentiality: senior people need a safe 'sandboxed' environment to explore their thinking and so we must create the right space for this to happen.

Based on this, our program is only open to such people as:

- CEOs / Managing Directors interested in growing their strategic capability.

- Members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) needing to bolster their strategic strengths.

- Members of the Senior Management Team identified for progression into the SLT.

If you are unsure about the suitability of this workshop for you, contact our Concierge Team and they can talk it through with you.

Completion of 3 sets of assessment to help put the program into context and give our facilitators time to cross-reference the findings in order to work on the individual Leadership Development Pathway.

An output of this short course is a personal development plan supported by various psychology assessments, peer discussions and reflective thinking. In addition, you will spend time 1:1 with one of our leadership experts. Our Internal Verification team will review your output prior to sending you your Certification of Completion. All of this can be attached to your CV / HR Record as a demonstration of competence.

Facilitated by former CEOs and leadership experts, our multi-lingual programs are held in high-quality venues using serious games, extensive individual and group exercises, contemporary case studies and more. Our ROI-focused sessions are limited to a maximum of 16 people at a time but our model has been designed for us to deliver 1:1 in certain circumstances.

You will be contacted by a member of our Concierge Team to discuss your motivation for attending the short course and to determine what objectives you are looking for our facilitators to realise for you during the course of the sessions.

What I would highlight: Two off us attended from our organisation as we were interested in psychology and behaviour and how leadership ethics would work in a growing market. The facilitators were fluent in French and this helped the workshop to feel more comfortable. The venue was exceptional and the evening meals with other delegates were a lot of fun. The 360 degree emotional intelligence is very useful and I have recommended that all of our board does this and the other Eskil workshops are attended.

What I would highlight: I am part of a leadership development program, sent to an Eskil workshop with a foundation on psychology, behaviour and ethics. The content was very easy to grasp and the workbook had further information where required. I like that I have to demonstrate understanding before being awarded a certificate and hope that my exercise book was of the correct standard for my award!
What could be improved: All OK.
