About this course
To understand the requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations, and safe working practices.
Suitable for: The candidates for this course are likely to be practicing Electricians or Multi-skilled Mechanical / Electrical Craftsmen.

This course is only offered to groups of 4 or more delegates from one organisation at a time. We do not offer courses to individuals
It is recommended that the course is based at the client’s site thus allowing candidates to gain practical experience on equipment that they are already familiar with. An on site meeting room suitable for teaching purposes would be necessary for the theory presentation.

- Awareness of the Extra Precautions for High Voltage Work (See Note 2 below)

Assessment: If the candidate builds up a portfolio of experience, ICA has a structured assessment procedure. This involves an interview panel consisting of an ICA SAP Mentor and the clients Safety Advisor or Senior Electrical Engineer. If the candidate passes this assessment they are eligible to become an ‘Authorised Person’.
Time Required: 4 Hours Prior Reading of Booklet + 1 Day Classroom and On-site.
