Course overview AutoCAD Foundation is a 10 week introductory evening course that will develop key skills and knowledge in Computer Aided Design. This foundation course has been specifically structured to introduce learners to the AutoCAD program and develop their skills to an intermediate level. During this Foundation course, you will discover how to competently use AutoCAD. The objective of the course is to teach the user how to succeed with objects, units, layers and working with the Design Center. It covers topics such as using inquiry commands, creating and inserting blocks and styles. You will be walked through the drawing and drafting tools needed for everyday use and is an ideal foundation for users new to AutoCAD. Entry requirements There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Previous experience of working with computers would be helpful but is not essential.
