Course programme

Each year over 150,000 die as a result of cardiac arrest, many of which could have been saved if a defibrillator was made available.

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are now becoming more common throughout a range of workplaces.

A casualty’s survival rate will dramatically decrease at a rate of 10% per minute if an AED is not available.

This very practical course will allow suitably qualified First Aid personnel to use the AED competently and with confidence.

Not only does this course deal with the use of an AED but also revisits some basic First Aid skills, including resuscitation.
