Aviation English

The Aviation English course is tailored to meet the English Language proficiency requirements of International Civil Aviation and Air-traffic management personnel.

We offer an intensive 3 week course consisting of 6 hours studying a day and totaling 90 hours of tuition of which 9 hours deal with test preparation.

Course time: 9am till 16:00 with a one hour break

-Induction- getting to know each other/ finding out about their expectations and objectives for the course.

Familiarizing with ICAO Language Proficiency requirements/ICAO band descriptors.

-Past tense endings.-Confirming and disconfirming-Topographical features

-‘TECHNOLOGY’-Expressing purpose-Saying things another way/paraphrasing.

-Flight Control systems/instrument-blackout/safety.-Giving instructions

WEEK - 2

-‘HEALTH’-Medical emergencies-Expressing cause and effect-Making suggestions and giving advice.

-Giving and asking for Updates.-Consonant clusters 1/intonations of lists

‘FIRE’-Obligation/prohibition and permission.-Orders and requests.

-Checking and understanding.-Identifying and responding to problems.-/i/ and /r/

You can commence the course any Monday however due to the new legal requirements this course is very popular and our next available starting date is: Monday 22nd of June. We recommend students enrol a minimum of four weeks in advance in order to secure their place.
