Course programme

The Award in Community Development Work is an initial qualification for those practising or interested in community development, either as a community activist, or a voluntary or paid worker. This also includes people from other occupations (e.g. health, housing, environment and many others) who are interested in using a community development approach. This is a three part programme; What is Community Development?, Understanding Group Working and Understanding Different Communities. All three parts must be completed to achieve the Award, which is available at Level 2 or 3.
