Are you interested in becoming a trainer o teacher? This course organised by Advance Training Academy is suitable for anyone who wishes to become a trainer or teacher in the lifelong learning sector since the Award in Education &Training (AET) is an official licence to enter in teaching and training.

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introduction to teaching that will give you an insight into the roles, principles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, as well as basic practical teaching skills. Once you have finished the course, the training academy will provide you with an award accredited by City&Guilds. This award is for new entrants to the Lifelong Learning Sector – you don’t need any prior teaching experience or qualifications. It is also convenient for people working in this field already who want to gain official and recognized qualifications.

This is an online course with flexible start dates and hours. You will receive at home all the necessary course materials. Support is provided through email, phone, Skype virtual classes and tutorials. An online campus is also available to you and attendance is only required in order to complete the examination.

Relationship with previous PTLLS qualifications:
Award in Education and Training (AET) is a direct replacement for the Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS).

The Award is suitable for those who work, or want to work as:
Teachers/Trainers/Tutors in the Lifelong Learning Sector and Adult/Community Education, Trainers of personnel in commerce, industry, Beauty, public and voluntary sectors or HM Forces Technicians and Support Staff in Further and Adult Education Part time teachers in further and adult education Provided they are qualified in the subject they intend to teach by virtue of holding an appropriate professional qualification or employed in a training/teaching role.
