What will I study?
Training providers have identified a growing need to make learning more relevant to specific business environmants to increase effectiveness. This new qualification addresses the new National Occupational Standards reflecting sector-specific needs concerning the food safety needs of the catering, manufacturing and retail sectors.

How can I progress?
Students can progress onto a relevant Level 3 qualification

What will I need to qualify for this course?
In order to qualify for this course, students will need to be working within the Hospitality Industry. (This is an essential course for all food handlers - It is required by Law.)

Course Structure
In order to gain a full Award in Food Safety (Level 2) these units will be studied; *Food Legislation, *Food Safety Hazards, *Temperature Control, *Refrigeration, Chilling and Cold Holding, *Cooking, Hot Holding, *Food Handling, *Cleaning.

Career
Along side NVQ level 2 it will enable you to work within the Hospitality Environment legally.
