Course programme

On this one day course you will learn how to use a Kansa Vatki three metal bowl to give a deeply relaxing Ayurvedic foot massage involving a re-balancing sequence of the Marma points of the feet.

Because the feet contain key energy and nerve endings relating to internal organs, this technique helps to rebalance the doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha energies). AND - of course – as the feet work in conjunction with the legs, knees, hips and back, foot problems can lead to muscular tension elsewhere in the body and this in turn can intensify fatigue and irritability.

Whilst this treatment is good for everyone it will be particularly appreciated by clients who spend long hours on their feet and those who do a lot of walking or running.

Apart from leaving them relaxed, balanced & uplifted, it may also give other benefits, such as increased strength and stamina in lower limbs, relief from eye strain & headaches, etc.

The massage sequence learnt is about 45 minutes duration - it is definitely a stand-alone treatment but it is also a great add-on to other treatments, such as body massage and Reflexology.
