This is a programme for anyone wanting to work in a family-owned business, or who thinks he will want to run his own business eventually. It gives graduates the management skills which big business require to function successfully. Students will be groomed to use critical thinking and multi-tasking skills to deal with challenges. Suitable for: A graduate can work in his or her family business or in any small business needing big business skills. Alternatively, he or she can be a consultant for larger organisations trying to harness the new ideas that usually come out of small business. Career opportunities also exist in banks targeting small- and medium-sized enterprises, and government departments or agencies.
