B.A. Creative Music Technology with Business Management

The teaching and learning in this degree takes place within an active and diverse music department. In the first year, you will take core modules covering Studio Production, Creative Music Skills (composition and performance), and Business Environments and Marketing.

As you progress through the course, you will be able to tailor your degree to the aspects of music which most interest you, with modules focusing on film and game audio, composing for film, electronic composition, live sound, songwriting, interactive technologies, acoustics and studio design – as well as performance, production and composition.

Masterclasses from industry specialists, composers and musicians supplement lectures, seminars and workshops. You will be assessed through performance, practical coursework, group and individual presentations and examinations.

You will also study a range of business functions, acquiring a broad perspective on business in the modern environment. Topics include human resources and business law and ethics; these are brought together through studying strategic management, decision-making, and managing change.
