German and Spanish [BA] - We offer German and Spanish at both post-A-level and beginners' level; however, applicants to this Joint Hons programme must have an A-level in at least one of the two languages. Our German courses at Manchester give students a solid grounding in German language and the opportunity to explore in depth German culture, linguistics, history and literature. They equip students with the skills and expertise needed to thrive in German-speaking environments, both during their period of residence abroad and following graduation. Gives students a thorough grounding in the language and culture of the Spanish-speaking world as well as the opportunity to learn Catalan.
