This programme Economics and Banking draws together the strengths of the department. You will gain an understanding of how banks and other financial institutions are placed in the economy, both in the UK and internationally. You will benefit from a rigorous grounding in economic theory and gain subject specific knowledge of the behaviour and practice of banks. Many of the units on this course are shared with the specialist programmes of BA (Hons) Economics and BA (Hons) Banking and Finance.
