Course Content
  • Year 1

    You will study four, 30-credit units:

    • Introduction to Sports Management and Marketing
    • Sports Event Design and Development
    • The Business of Sport
    • Understanding and Managing People

    Note: This course shares a common first year with BA (Hons) Sports Management.

  • Year 2

    You will study four, 30-credit units:

    • Brand Management
    • Commercial Aspects of Sport
    • Sports Enterprise and Community
    • Sports Professionalism and Practice
  • Year 3

    If you are taking the placement route, you will need to undertake a minimum of 36 weeks paid work experience.

    If you are on the full-time route, you will progress directly into Year 3.

    You will study three, 30-credit core units:

    • Sports Branding and Sponsorship
    • Strategic Communications and Advertising Planning
    • Strategic Sports Management

    Additionally, you will select one of the following optional units:
