Course programme

Course Content

Students enter into level 6 and the programme is normally completed over one year full-time or two years part-time (the maximum time allowed for completion is five years). This honours programme of studies comprises of level 6 modules which accumulate to 120 credit points.

There are three 20 credit compulsory modules (contemporary issues in health and wellbeing, research methods and the evidence based disertation). Students may choose to study three 20 credit optional 'generic' modules in leadership in practice, health care ethics and essentials of effective communication or opt to study modules within one of the following subject specific 60 credit pathways: neuroscience, case management, diabetes, urology, continence, stoma care or forensic healthcare.
