This course allows you to develop your understanding of the breadth and importance of animal behaviour. You will examine the ways that behaviour changes over the lifetime of organisms and the environmental, physiological and hormonal mechanisms that control it. You can also learn how to record behavioural data in the lab and in the field, and use specialist software for its analysis. Applications include the use of behaviour analysis to improve the welfare and management of domestic, wild and zoo populations.
