The Sociology (Hons) programme at The University of Hull applies a range of approaches to the study of society as it is lived and experienced, in its complexity and cultural diversity. We combine internationally recognised expertise in research and highly regarded experience in teaching to develop a multifaceted investigation of social life from a local to a global scale, emphasising the study of social inequalities, cultural diversity, changing social identities, and new forms of togetherness, power and resistance.
