BA(Hons) Accountancy graduates enjoy excellent career prospects as professional accountants, preparing financial statements and record business transactions, tracking financial performance, and participating in mergers, acquisitions and quality management.
You’ll benefit from using professional accounting packages, small class sizes and excellent access to staff, as well as a series of guest speakers to enhance your learning. Our programme will encourage you to develop a broad understanding of the practices of accounting and the ability to evaluate theories and evidence concerning the effects of accounting on organisations and society.
This programme is accredited by the main UK professional accountancy bodies including ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA and CIPFA and our graduates are exempt from a number of professional examinations.
Our degree is held in high regard by the accounting profession, not only because we teach the professional body qualifications, but also due to the number of our graduates employed by major accountancy firms and Blue Chip organisations in the UK and overseas.
