Similar to our BA/BA (Hons) Hospitality Management, you’ll study the principles of hospitality management, specialising in entrepreneurship. You'll also gain the essential skills required to establish, develop and manage your own hospitality business. You’ll apply this knowledge to practical situations on an industry-based placement or live project, preparing you for a management career in the hospitality and tourism industries or to start your own business venture. Alternatively you can choose to study abroad through our international exchange links in Europe and the USA. You’ll learn practical skills in hotels and restaurants, as well as developing transferable skills in research, academic writing, communication and interpersonal relations, presentation and time management. This course is studied full-time over four years. You’ll learn by a variety of teaching methods including lectures, tutorials and independent study. There is a work placement option in Year 3.
