Programme Overview
During the first two years of the Communications degree students take the same core courses. During the third and fourth year students then specialise into one of three areas:
Marketing Communications & Public Relations,
Media Production
Media Studies.
Students pursuing the specialisation in Media Production will focus on the study of video production, photography, cinema and script writing. The aim of the programme is to equip the students with a complete working knowledge of media production from the writing of a script to the implementation of a screen play. Students will have the opportunity in their third or final year to pursue an internship.
