BA (Hons) Business and Management (Top-up) Overview

The BA (Hons) Top-up Business and Management Degree is ideal for those who have studied a business or management related subject to Level 5, for example in business or administration, and wish to further their academic qualifications and/or professional experience.

This flexible honours level programme will allow you to link your study to your professional practice, enhancing your employability and career prospects.

As befitting a high level of study, much of the work undertaken is project-based around your individual vocational situation.

This course is validated by Birmingham City University.

Entry requirements

All applicants will be invited to an interview to discuss qualifications, experience and any other related issues.

You will be expected to have successfully completed a minimum of one of the following:

  • At least 240 credits on a relevant foundation degree with a profile of merit/50%.
  • At least 240 credits on a relevant HND, with a merit profile.
  • Other relevant Level 5 qualification (normally 240 credits at merit grade, or equivalent).

We normally also require three GCSEs at grade C or above, to include English language and maths: English and maths at Level 2 are essential requirements.

Please note that maths at Level 2 is required for progression onto the BA (Hons) Business and Management (top-up) award or other programme.
