Course programme

This advanced entry course develops your confidence in presenting work and ideas to your peers and professionals in the industry. You'll develop your skills to work both on your own and as part of a team, as well as gain transferable skills and a wider knowledge of the communication industry. You’ll work with real clients through our communications management consultancy. You'll also get the chance to undertake an industry work placement, giving you valuable work experience and a portfolio of work that you can use to impress potential employers. We also have excellent links with the Institute of Internal Communication (IoIC). This means that you’ll gain an industry recognised qualification as well as a degree. This is a full-time course studied over two years. You'll learn through a variety of teaching methods including lectures, tutorials, workshops, seminars, practical work and independent study. What you study This course recruits directly into year three (SCQF level 9) from HND and foundation degrees, or international equivalents, in related disciplines.
