Course programme

What it's all about?

HE, full-time, day-time

On completion of the two-year Foundation Degree, you have two choices. You can either enter the commercial world of advertising or, if you wish, apply for the third year of our BA (Hons) Creative Advertising Degree here at the College.

Our philosophy is simple, but effective: "Together we will learn to become strategic, imaginative and conceptual art directors and copywriters." The aim of this course is to develop students' abilities to become successful creatives in the advertising industry as copywriters, art directors or media planners. In addition, students will learn about how the advertising business works, and its future direction. This course has been designed following consultation with leading advertising agencies and the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA). The course team continues to develop partnerships which enable some of the country's leading creatives. We are also developing links into Europe and the USA.

Is this the course for you?

If you want to learn how to be a creative in the world of advertising, through a practical course focusing on industry experience, this course may be just what you are looking for.

Mature students (21+)

We welcome applications from students who are returning to education. We offer many opportunities for adults, even if you don't have conventional entry qualifications. We're interested in your motivation, your potential, and your ability to follow the course successfully.
