This course offers a vocational pathway in higher education, allowing you to gain both an academic degree and the knowledge and skills to work in hospitality. Additional information This 3 year programme is for current progressing students only. New applicants are instead invited to apply for the 2 year Foundation Degree (FdA) Hospitality Management: The introduction of an additional top-up year qualification, which will give students a full Honours degree, is currently being reviewed. The normal minimum entry requirements are as follows: Academic requirements: Those without such qualifications are considered on an individual basis and a wide range of prior experience may be taken into account. Potential students will be asked to demonstrate performance at level 4 through an assessment at interview or portfolio of prior experience equating to level 4. a minimum of 64 UCAS tariff points, normally gaining a pass in at least two relevant A2 subjects. The UCAS tariff points are a guide and all information included in the students’ application will be considered. Or
a BTEC National Certificate or above, with one third of the final year units at Merit or above; or
an AVCE, GNVQ, National Certificate/Diploma, International Baccalaureate, Welsh Baccalaureate, in a relevant subject, with a Pass grade in the 12 units which includes a Maths-based unit; or
NVQ/VRQ at level 3 in a relevant discipline; or
