This honours degree programme is aimed at students who wish to pursue a career in journalism, whether in hard news or comment, and who value good writing, skilled broadcasting and top-class analytical skills. You will benefit from a practical, hands-on major in Journalism, aimed at developing first-class production skills in online, print and broadcast media with a minor in Politics that emphasises the analysis of differing political systems and approaches. Drawing on the synergies between politics and media across different platforms – the need for clarity and the construction of a compelling message – the programme will familiarise you with a broad range of essential and advanced journalistic principles, writing / production techniques, and with life in the workplace.Modules available on this course
