BA Single Honours Historical and Archival Studies

The Department of Information Studies and the Department of History and Welsh History have come together to offer a new degree scheme, Historical and Archival Studies that will draw on Aberystwyth's established strength in professional archival training alongside History and Welsh History.

The Historical and Archival Studies Degree scheme is aimed at developing your knowledge of historical study alongside training in the management and use of archives and records. The course also aims to develop skills in the application of information technology in this field. It is likely to appeal to you if you are looking to work as a graduate archive assistant or are thinking about studying further for post graduate professional training in archive administration and records management.
