About this Course

This is a practical course that will provide you with an in-depth knowledge to work across a range of platforms in the creative sector.



You will develop skills in creating lens based projects using industry standard equipment and software. You will work on a variety of client led and self-generated briefs.

Course Summary

This programme offers you a unique opportunity to develop your understanding and applied knowledge of current media and photography production practices in which the full range of creative formats are used.



You will study the broader background of the creative industries and develop your own specialisms.



You will develop a bespoke showreel and portfolio of work. You will have the opportunity to work with industry professionals in industry settings, and develop business acumen to produce integrated media and photography products and services.

Entry requirements
A minimum of three passes at A-Level or 12-unit Vocational A-Level, plus passes at GCSE (grades A–C), in maths and English language, Extended Diploma (at Merit, Pass, Pass) or other equivalent qualifications, such as GNVQ/NVQ or other Level 3 vocational qualifications. You will need 160 UCAS points as a minimum entry requirement.

You will also be expected to provide a showreel/portfolio of work at interview.
