Are you ready for the opportunity of a lifetime? Travel abroad, immerse yourself in the French culture, learn a new language and complete a dual degree, all at the same time. This four-year dual degree program enables you to work towards both a Bachelor of Arts degree at Sciences Po in France and a Bachelor of Economics degree at the University of Sydney.



The first of its kind in Australia, two of the world’s leading institutions for the humanities and social sciences, the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Sciences Po in France, have come together to offer students a new dual degree program.



The four-year dual degree program is available to both international and domestic students and will be offered for the first time in 2016. If accepted into the program, you will work towards both a Bachelor of Arts degree at Sciences Po and a Bachelor of Economics degree at the University of Sydney.



You will complete the first two years of the program in France, at one of three regional campuses. Each campus focuses on a particular region of the world:



Le Havre – located on the Normandy Coast, focuses on the relationship between Europe and Asia.

Menton – located on the French Riviera, focuses on the relationships between the northern and southern sides of the Mediterranean, as well as the analysis of the links between Europe and the Middle East.

Reims – located in the Champagne region, 45 minutes outside of Paris, focuses on the comparative understanding of Europe and North America.

Course programme

Students accepted into the program will work towards both:


• a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Sciences Po, and
• a Bachelor of Economics Degree  at the University of Sydney

The dual degree program incorporates a four-year structure as follows:


Year One: France – commencing in August at one of three Sciences Po regional campuses
Year Two: France – continued study at the selected regional campus
Year Three: Sydney – all students move to the University of Sydney for year three,
commencing in July (Semester 2)
Year Four: Sydney – final year of study which will be completed in June.

Sciences Po students are automatically granted advanced standing into the following
majors:

• Financial Economics
• Resource Economics


Additional majors and / or electives may be chosen from the University of Sydney Business
School or from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, depending on the subjects completed in
your four semesters at Sciences Po. Subject areas include:
