Course programme

The Bachelor of Science (Energy Geoscience) focuses primarily on the geological concepts of energy exploration.
The program offers a unique combination of fundamental geology and energy geoscience through specialist core courses.
 At level 2, students will be offered an opportunity to undertake a semester of study abroad at a chosen international UA Strategic partner institution.
At level 3, students undertake a Capstone Industry Research Project, mentored by industry experts, involving research with real industry samples and datasets.
In addition to approved Level 1, 2 and 3 electives, students must also complete broadening electives chosen from outside of the major area of study.
