"Entry Requirements Applicants should hold a good honours degree 2.2 or above in a relevant academic discipline. Applications from candidates with relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis. Recent events have critically highlighted the importance of the link between the banking and financial sector and the real economy.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?This course aims to provide you with a thorough understanding of:
- changes in strategies of financial institutions;
- financial instruments;
- risk management.
In the first stage of the course you will study modules such as:
- financial statement analysis and valuation;
- institutional investments;
- corporate finance;
- quantitative methods.
Stage two involves studying modules such as:
- international financial markets;
- emerging markets finance;
- international banking;
- Islamic finance.
You will also be required to complete a course on Research Methods, leading to a project proposal.
