Level Two This course will give you the skills you need to work at a junior level in men’s hairdressing and barbering. It will cover basic barbering skills and is specifically designed to enable you to carry out a range of techniques in barbering and shaving. In our fully equipped salons you will learn barbering skills in cutting, creating patterns, styling, shaping and shampooing. You will also develop your skills in customer care and consultation, and health and safety.

Entry requirements

In our experience in order to be successful on this level of course you will need one of the following:

a GCSE (or equivalent) in English
an NVQ/VRQ Level 1 in Hairdressing or Barbering
equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience.
