Cost
There will be approx costs of 200 for uniform, books and kit. Additional courses and trips offered by the college will be payable by each student.
Maturer Learners will pay Tuition fees ( This will be discussed during interview and can vary according to the individuals circumstances)
The Programme
The Barbering course involves an individual programme of study designed to provide students with training so they may obtain a Level 2 National Vocational Qualifications in Barbering.
The Programme Content
You will study a minimum of nine units leading to the NVQ Level 2 in Barbering. Key skills will also be studied alongside barbering, strengthening your employability. Assessment is by practical observations, assignments, oral questions and written papers.
Progression / Careers
The course offers the foundation for careers in salons, health farms, cruise liners, technician posts in education and setting up hairdressing businesses.
After completing Level 2, students often progress to Level 3.
