Course Overview
 
The course covers all the basics in the introduction module, followed by specific application training in 'Excel', 'Word' and 'Access', to help you gain confidence in using spreadhseets, word processing and databases.
Whether you are studying this course individually or in combination with another subject, it will prepare you to return to study with confidence.  With interactive activities you can test your knowledge effectively, allowing you to reinforce your learning.
 
Pre-requisites
 
The great news is that you don't need any previous experience to take this course.
 
Support
 
This Skills for Learning course doesn't require support.  The course contains activities to reinforce your learning throughout, everything you need to succeed is contained within the study materials, and as the materials have been developed specifically for return learners the study materials are user friendly, and self explanatory.
 
Assessment
 
The course contains no formal assessment as its purpose is to gradually reintroduce return learners to study without pressure.  This course includes a number of activities so you can apply the theory learned and monitor your own progress.  The purpose of the course is to generate confidence in your existing skills rather than test you on acquiring new skills.
