Basic Digital Editing/Manipulation

Who is this course for?
This course is aimed at those who express a keen interest in digital photography, it will allow you to manipulate where necessary to create the perfect picture.

What will I learn?
During this course the learner will be instructed in the following elements: · Selecting images · Relocate selections · Duplicating objects · Rescaling and transforming · Using the airbrush and other tools · Correcting colour casts · Using the colne tool · Using layers · Applying filters · Printing out work · Applying safe working practices

Assessment
This course works towards Key Skills qualifications and will be assessed by means of portfolio building throughout the year.

On Completion Achievement / Progression
On completion of this course you could progress onto other digital photography courses.

Requirement
There are no formal entry requirements, however this is a level 2 course and it would be to your advantage to have some prior knowledge of photo manipulation. This is not compulsory. To apply, complete an application form as soon as possible. You will then be invited to the College for an interview and an English and Maths

Assessment (BKSB). If you are successful a letter will be sent to confirm this.
