Course Contents

Day 1

• Introduction to basic hair styling
• Health and safety
• Discussion on the hair structure, the impact heat and cold temperatures have on the hair
• The cuticle, cortex and medullas of the hair shaft
• Product knowledge
• Choosing the correct tools
• Blow-dying techniques
• Hand out home work

Day 2

• Class discussion
• Set up you work area
• How to achieve a full head of curls
• How to create a French pleat and occasion hair up styles
• How to incorporate hair wefts in a hair up or to create colour

Hours: 10-am - 3pm
