Basic Life Support
In just four hours you could learn the skills needed to potentially help save someone's life.
If a friend, relative or colleague collapses with a cardiac arrest you would have less then three minutes before the brain started to die from lack of oxygen.
The Basic Life Support course teaches you how to recognise and deal with potentially life threatening medical emergencies, such as heart attacks, choking and severe bleeding.
Course content:
- Incident management
- Recognising and dealing with a heart attack
- Recognising and dealing with a casualty who is choking
- Treatment of an unconscious casualty
- Dealing with severe bleeding
The course duration is four hours and can be held either at weekends or in the evenings if required (details on request).
A minimum of four people are required in order for this course to take place at our training centre.
