Basic Plumbing Studies Certificate Level 2 Adult

What will you be learning?
This is an introductory course to plumbing where you will learn a wide range of skills. The course includes: Safety in plumbing; central heating (pipe work only) and hot and cold water systems in the home; common plumbing processes and effective working relationships. You will be assessed by practical and theory tests and you will complete a portfolio of work.

What happens when you have finished?
After this course you can go onto a Plumbing Apprenticeship and will only have to study the NVQ and functional skills or you may choose to enter full-time employment.

• You are unemployed and in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance (contribution-based)

  • Working Tax Credit (your assessed household income needs to be less than 15,276 per year (amount subject to change)
  • Housing Benefit
  • Council Tax Benefit (excluding the 25% single person reduction)

  first full Level 2 qualification, whatever your age.
• You are aged 19-24 on the 31st of August prior to the start of your course and studying for your
