While Google is acknowledged as being the pre-eminent internet search engine, effective searchers will have a far wider selection of resources in their information armory.
programme:
This course will look at alternatives to Google which allow searchers to work more effectively. It will not only look at other search engines such as Yahoo!, Ask, Accoona and Live, but will also consider other methods of obtaining information. Google will not however be entirely overlooked and the course will look at new developments and resources from the company in a robust fashion to see if they can provide value to internet searchers.
