Beauty Therapy - Intermediate Level 2 Apprenticeship

As a beauty therapy apprentice, you¿ll assist senior therapists and learn a range of skills and techniques, such as how to improve facial skin conditions, wax body hair, spray tan, shape and colour brows, perform hand and foot treatments, and apply make-up.

You will also study maths and English if you do not have a grade A* - C in these subjects, Employment rights and responsibilities and Personal Learning and thinking skills

You will need:

• to have a keen interest in beauty therapy
• a good reference, a good level of spoken and written English as well as good communication skills.
• to carry out an assessment and will be interviewed.

You will be assessed on the practical work that you do in the workplace through:

• Observation
• Portfolio
• On-line TestAssignmentsOral Questioning

On completing this apprenticeship, you can progress to the advanced apprenticeship in Beauty Therapy or move directly into employment, for example as a junior beauty therapist, Beauty consultant or junior make-up artist.
