Aim of course
This short course will focus on the theoretical issues associated with beekeeping both in the classroom and the College Apiary. Health & Safety, hive types, seasonal management, honey extraction and pests and diseases will all be discussed. This course is suitable for complete beginners and those with some knowledge who wish to gain a further insight into the world of Apiculture. Included in this course there will be 1 or 2 Saturday morning sessions at the tutor's home, to be arranged. Please note: BOTH COURSES ARE NOW FULL UNTIL SUMMER 2010
