Beginners' Basics

Taking the mystery out of cooking, this fun course is an essential for anyone just starting out. We aim to help you build a range of essential skills and the knowledge of how to recreate a whole host of delicious dishes at home.

Teaching takes place in our state of the art spacious open plan classroom under the expert guidance of our team of chef tutors who are all highly skilled and experienced. Each student has their own individual work station with the kitchen being equipped with modern ranges by Rangemaster as well as Agas.

The practical course starts at 9.30am with refreshments, this is then followed by a tour of the kitchen at 10.00am when cooking commences! A two course lunch is usually served at around 1.00pm followed by an afternoon back in the kitchen, which concludes around 4.00pm, when the school shop is open where we sell an exciting and expanding range of cookware and books.
