The tutors were great - really enthusiastic and great fun. I really enjoyed the day and learnt loads - plus came away with a gorgeous cushion! thank you x

I went along because I've had a sewing machine sat in my cupboard for 4 years which my mum bought me as a birthday present. I'd been too scared to touch it! However, the half day session I attended was really inspiring - I was shown all the basics of setting up the machine and simple sticthes, hems etc. Then I made a cushion. It was a lovely morning - the teachers were very friendly and patient and really knew their stuff. The first thing I did when I got home was to drag out my old sewing machine and give it a go - and it worked! So now no stray scrap of fabric is safe around me...
