  • The tutors were great - really enthusiastic and great fun. I really enjoyed the day and learnt loads - plus came away with a gorgeous cushion! thank you x

  • I went along because I've had a sewing machine sat in my cupboard for 4 years which my mum bought me as a birthday present. I'd been too scared to touch it! However, the half day session I attended was really inspiring - I was shown all the basics of setting up the machine and simple sticthes, hems etc. Then I made a cushion. It was a lovely morning - the teachers were very friendly and patient and really knew their stuff. The first thing I did when I got home was to drag out my old sewing machine and give it a go - and it worked! So now no stray scrap of fabric is safe around me...

What I would highlight: A brilliant course for anyone wanting to learn how to use a sewing mashine for the very first time! The course is well structured and fun. The teachers are extremely friendly, very helpful and take their time to explain everything in detail one on one. I have had a wonderful time learning how to sew a cushion and was delighted to take it home with me at the end of the course! An overall fab day!
