Study Computer-aided mechanical engineering at GCU and become a virtual engineer. Computer-aided mechanical engineers design and test new products or systems without having to build expensive prototypes. You will learn the fundamental principles of engineering, design, computer aided engineering (CAE) and manufacturing. At GCU you will use industry-standard software such as PTC Creo and ANSYS and benefit from the industrial experience gained through work placements and visiting lecturers from industry. The computer-aided mechanical engineering degree is delivered both full-time and part-time. There is the option to go on a one year placement and to progress to the MEng.
