Course summary
Overview
Electrical and Electronic engineers influence the world we live in, from communications technology, to electrical power distribution and health care technology. This course provides an integrated approach by combining academic rigour with engineering design applications, business skills and professional studies.

Demand for engineers is high, so combining technical knowledge with personal and professional skills gives you a great start to your career.

Why choose this course?
Every day an electrical device is being powered or being used to enhance the way we live our lives. The ever growing demand for these devices requires the latest technology and presents a challenge to maintain and develop new technologies for an ever changing world.

Throughout the course students are given the opportunity to gain relevant practical skills using state-of- the-art technology to produce practical and innovative solutions to a wide range of engineering problems. From day one, students will be developing electronic circuits from prototype design through to fully assembled PCBs.

Career and study progression
We will provide you with the knowledge and skills required for your chosen career path in electrical or electronic engineering.

You may also wish to undertake postgraduate study to specialise in a subject you’ve already studied, or to explore something new.
