Investigate the differences between English as a foreign language and English for academic purposes. As part of the course, you critically evaluate and reflect on a significant aspect of your own teaching based on an exploration of current thinking on EAP teaching methodologies and underpinning research. You relate your findings to your own development both as a practitioner and early classroom researcher. You consider the different types of EAP learner and their learning needs, and the implications for teaching and learning.
