Course programme
It is suitable for anyone including complete beginners and is also a perfect follow-up course for those who have done "Bookbinding for Artists" or "Beginners Bookbinding".Using materials including greyboard, bookcloth, and a selection of patterned papers, you will learn step by step how to plan, construct and finish different types of boxes from a slipcase for a book, a presentation box for loose sheets and a box for objects with a separate lid. At the end of the course you will not only take home your own collection of hand-made boxes, you will also be able to carry on making boxes at home without needing complicated or expensive equipment.
