Content You will gain an understanding of the Door Supervisors provision through 2 units Unit 1; The role of Door Supervisor, Behavioural Standards, Customer Service Skills, Health and Safety at work, Civil and Criminal Law, The Law in relation to Licensing, Equal Opportunities, Young Persons, How to comply with regulation as a Door Supervisor, Searching People, Eviction, Offensive Weapons, First Aid, Emergencies, Drugs, Arrest, Incident Recording and Scene Preservation. Unit 2:Introduction to Com munication Skills and Conflict Management, Self Awareness, Avoiding Conflict, Effective Communication and Customer Service Skills, Recognising and Defusing Conflict, Maintaining Space, Defusing High Risk Conflict, Resolving Conflict and Learning from Conflict, Assessment Both units are assessed by a multi-choice exam of which both have to be passed. Progression Once passed, candidates can apply for the SIA badge to carry out employment within the Security Sector.
