Social Media and new technologies are hot topics in education. iPads in classrooms, online courses and educational applications are all subjects that we read about on a daily basis. But what about blogging?
Emergingedtech writes about instructional blogging making it’s way into the classrooms and how the feedback from students and teachers has helped us create methods to use blogs effectively.
Using blogs in the classroom can help students learn the art of research, of improving their writing skills and to learn through conversation.  Another important part is to learn how to work electronically and the digital safety aspect, most likely important things to know for any student who’s about to start working in an every day more digital society.
What do you prefer in the classroom? Traditional paper books and pencils, or to type on a keyboard and be connected online?
