The aim
To understand the importance and meaning of body language in the workplace.
About the programme
Desmond Morris has helped people think increasingly about the messages we send and receive through our bodies, and the very practical body language techniques we can apply at work.
The core programme, in this four-part masterclass, uses drama to look at the all-important first impression, conveyed by: eye contact, gesture and posture; mirroring; body language that contradicts the spoken word; and people's sensitivity to their personal space.
The three subsequent modules examine how to put messages across to others without distracting, misleading and using unconscious mannerisms.
Targeted at managers, salespeople and front-line personnel, this programme delivers practical advice and techniques that can be applied immediately, and is suitable for all one-to-one and one-to-group communication.
The key outcomes
-Increase awareness of what, and how, people communicate non-verbally
-Learn how to make a good first impression through positive body language
Programme includes:
DVD (21 mins - chapterised DVD)
plus
3 DVDs (approx. 15 mins each - please note these DVDs aren't chapterised)
