Become a qualified Heat Pump Installer

Would you like to become a qualified ground source and air source heat pump installer? Book your place in this course published in Emagister.co.uk and become a fully recognised professional by MCS – the Microgeneration Certification Scheme.

The course is especially aimed at qualified plumbers, oil or gas engineers and heating engineers holding a NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent Qualification, although everyone can undertake it. The manual covers the following: ground heat exchangers, health and safety, domestic hot water, solar coils, heat pump installation, commission and handover, as well as the requirements to inspect, service and maintain them, among others.

At the end of the course, which will be provided by Prospects Training Solution, a centre specialized in engineering and construction industry, delegates must complete three practical assessments and two multiple choice question papers. Candidates who achieve a passing grade will receive the following accreditation: BPEC Heat Pump Systems Approved Installer MCS mapped.

About this course

The BPEC Heat Pump Systems course is for qualified plumbers, heating engineers, oil engineers or gas engineers who hold one of the following qualifications: Recognised NVQ Level 2/3 or earlier equivalent qualification. In addition, if not included within the formal qualification, the individual MUST hold Water Regulations/Bylaws and Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating certificates. *This course can be also completed without the above but will be a defined scope for design and specification only.
